2012 Conference

Energy OutWest Conference | April 23 – 27, 2012 | Boise Centre on the Grove | Boise, Idaho
At our last conference in 2010, nearly 1000 individuals from the Energy OutWest core states as well as from farther afield attended and gave our conference high marks. In 2012 we expect no less. The schedule will be full with inspirational keynote speakers, in-depth tutorials, exhibitor booths to explore, and a broad range of educational sessions to choose from.
Our keynote speakers will be Chris Gardner, owner and CEO of Gardner Rich LLC, whose inspirational autobiography provided the basis for the movie, “The Pursuit of Happyness”, and Joe Lstiburek, a nationally recognized expert in Building Science and an always interesting and challenging speaker.
Online 2012 Schedule at a Glance Full 2012 Conference Agenda
The main conference will begin on Wednesday, April 25th, with the morning keynote speech by Chris Gardner. But as in previous conferences on Monday and Tuesday there will be half day and full day tutorials in the field or in training facilities. These typically have sign-up limits so you should sign up as soon as possible to assure a place when registration opens in January, 2012. We anticipate offering at least 25 tutorials to choose from. The list and schedule for these will be posted on our tutorial page as soon as it is available.
The 2012 conference as always is being supported by both sponsors and commercial exhibitors. The exhibitors displays and representatives will be accessible throughout the conference in one of the main venues. The list of these important supporters will be available on the sponsors and exhibitors page as soon as we have a complete list.
With over 70 sessions by top notch speakers the 6 session tracks are titled: Installer, Auditor, Inspector, Crew Chief, Program Management, and Beyond Weatherization. We will collect all slide presentations and supplemental materials that we can from these sessions and make them available on our web site as soon as possible after the conference.
